Vegas Baby

Ok.. so what didn't stay in Vegas was the 6lbs I gained!!!
Here is my breakdown on Sin City. I have some new 'tag lines' for their advertising....
1. Vegas....A Smokers Paradise
2. Vegas... Have a vice? It's a paradise.
3. Vegas... Just hand over your money and call it a day.
4. Vegas...Where everyone can pretend they're Kim Kardashian
5. Vegas...Where making memories can be a blurr.

All in all I had a blast... I think it's primarily because I went with one of my dearest friends in the world. For me I started by medicating myself for the flight because anxiety is my middle name. I'll tell you what....supplements, xanax and a Miller Light were just right for this flight!!
The Wynn Encore hotel is crazy!!!!! It's for sure the best hotel on the strip and probably in all of Vegas. We stayed on the 63 floor and I could not stop looking out of the window.... it's was like this crazy Disney World for grown ups. And I couldn't get enough of that damn pirate ship at Treasure Island.... one night it started shooting off cannons and fireworks at like midnight...hilarious!!

There was a lot of nudity on this trip too. It was pretty funny seeing that all of the nudity was between Melissa and I with our new found freedom for being naked!! oh and the one lady at the 'European Pool' shaking her new tata's.

We totally found our Zen at the VIP pool. Now that is where we belonged. Pina Colada's for me and Mojito's for Melissa all day. Heaven!
So now to my favorite part... Food Obsession Confession time.... We ate like there was a gourmet food shortage in Paris! Geeze Louise. I can only describe this through a little picture montage....

So as you can see...we did a lot of eating. Room service is my new favorite thing. Oh if you notice the 'bill'  that was for two chicks at one dinner $466.00 before gratuity!! At that point you just have to go for it. Oh and if you see a very leggy picture of a wine...it's a 1966 vintage sherry. Older than me! that little glass with a spoon in it is Strawberry Soup. Yum! We also saw a Bloody Mary and Bellini Cart..A Fish Cart & our favorite was the Cheese Cart!
The time not spent eating was filled with lots of laughs, an aesthetic show, beginner black jack, checking out the strip, the Bellagio and Caesar's and let's not forget the Bonanza gift shop. (yikes). Vegas is by far the best people watching destination to date.

That was a doozy... If you made it this far you are a trooper! Don't worry... Melissa and I are planning our next adventure already!

Food Obsession Confession

I crack myself up.
Hmmm....why did my belly hurt? Oh yeah. So I'm trying to run a few errands and I drive all the way to Wegemans because I have to buy their chocolate sprinkles for my ice cream. I'm telling you they are the best ones. They sell them right at the register (which I totally bi-passed and went right to the back of the store to the olive bar). So I get myself a container with Olives stuffed with Blue Cheese, Sun dried Tomatoes and Mediterranean...not to be out done by the olives were those little fat hot peppers stuffed with provolone cheese and some kind of meat.... I didn't want them to feel left out so I scooped up a few of those too. I head to the register (after grabbing a wedge of some awesome looking jalapeno jack cheese) to get what I came for. My freakin chocolate sprinkles. Feeling somewhat victorious that I navigated away from everything else I decided I should reward myself with a little pack of peanut m&m's... protein.
I check out and get in my car thinking I'll snack on the m&m's and then I think..... wait.. let me try and olive... I eat about 6 giant olives stuffed with all sorts of goodness and just to be fair (while driving mind you) I shove a whole giant pepper in my mouth!!! Yummmm....I'm like an Italian Pig in Shit at this point..... feeling kind of oily now I decide....it's time for chocolate! So now on the ride from Wegemans to Deans Natural Market I am a human stuffed with stuffed olives, peppers and chocolate.
Thank goodness for goodness..... I bought two big heads of organic lettuce, cucumbers and a water.
I just want to be fair and let you know that the next day (yesterday) I woke up and made myself a Chocolate Chip Mint ice cream cone for breakfast....for dinner.... I ate a head of lettuce with some crab meat and lemon and some herbs from my garden.... feeling good about dinner I rewarded myself with another ice cream cone.
Yep... this blog is a good place for me to just tell it like it is people.....
Ok.... got to run.. time for breakfast  :)

Sex And The City.. Take New Poll at Bottom of Page.

Thoughts on Sex And The City? So far for me it has been a great excuse to continue to express my self with out being 'labeled'. I think the brand has been so great for all women who want to let out their inner Carrie's or Samantha's but have been worried about the perception of being slutty or flamboyant or flaky.
In my opinion the ability to be 'me' has been a gift I gave my self years ago. I decided long ago that if I wanted to be happy I would stay true to who 'I' am. Not who society thinks or wants me to be. So far this take on my life has made me very happy. I advise you to try it, simply.....'Stay True To Who YOU Are".
At a recent S&TC party we all dressed the part that we felt we most related to. No surprises there! That is what was so great. Knowing who would dress like which character. Therein lies the gift that this brand has allowed us to express ourselves.
As far as the movies, acting, scripts etc.... I think they stink. Love the fashions, the tips on where to go in the city and the idea of having friends that are not twins of yourself. I think it's important that we all have friends that support us and love us and will have your back no matter what. I consider myself one lucky lady because I am blessed with so many amazing friends in all walks of life.
